Helpr Technologies Inc. ("Helpr", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of every service entrepreneur and client who uses our platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy laws.
Business users: When you create a business account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, industry, service area, and operational data (bookings, clients, invoices, services). If you connect Stripe for payments, Stripe collects your banking and identity verification information directly — Helpr does not store your banking details.
Clients: When you book a service or create a client account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, address (for service delivery), and booking history. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe — Helpr does not store credit card numbers or banking details.
Automatically collected: We collect device information, IP addresses, browser type, and usage analytics to improve the Platform. We use cookies for authentication and session management.
We use your information to:
• Operate and deliver the Helpr platform, including scheduling, invoicing, and the marketplace • Power the AI COO with your business data to generate operational insights and automated communications • Display your business profile on the Helpr Marketplace (business users) • Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, invoice reminders, review requests) • Process payments through Stripe • Send SMS notifications through Twilio (booking reminders, OTP verification) • Send email communications through Resend (invoices, reminders, marketing with consent) • Improve the Platform and develop new features • Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We share your information with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:
• Supabase (database hosting, authentication) — data stored in secure cloud infrastructure • Stripe (payment processing, Stripe Connect for payouts) — PCI-DSS compliant • Resend (transactional and marketing emails) • Twilio (SMS notifications and OTP verification) • Anthropic (AI COO features) — business data is sent to generate insights; Anthropic does not retain or train on your data • Vercel (platform hosting) — servers located in North America
Each processor is bound by data processing agreements and processes your data only as instructed by Helpr.
In accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we adhere to the following principles:
• Accountability: Helpr's Privacy Officer is responsible for compliance. Contact privacy@helpraio.com. • Consent: We collect and use personal information with your knowledge and consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. • Limiting collection: We collect only the information necessary to deliver our services. • Limiting use, disclosure, and retention: Your information is used only for the purposes stated in this policy. • Accuracy: We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is accurate and up to date. You may update your information through your account settings. • Safeguards: We protect your information using industry-standard encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. • Openness: This policy is publicly available and describes our practices. • Individual access: You have the right to access your personal information and request corrections. • Challenging compliance: You may challenge our compliance by contacting our Privacy Officer.
Account data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time through Settings or by contacting support@helpraio.com. Upon deletion, your personal profile and marketplace listing are removed within 30 days.
Booking and invoice records: We retain booking, invoice, and payment records for seven (7) years after creation to comply with Canadian tax and business record-keeping requirements.
Communication logs: Automated message logs (SMS, email) are retained for 12 months.
AI COO conversations: AI conversation history is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
• Access your personal information held by Helpr • Request correction of inaccurate information • Withdraw consent for data collection (which may limit platform functionality) • Request deletion of your account and personal data • Receive your data in a portable format upon request

We take the security of your data seriously. Our measures include:
• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest • Row-level security (RLS) on all database tables • Service role separation for administrative operations • Secure authentication via Supabase Auth • Regular security reviews • Stripe PCI-DSS compliance for all payment data
No system is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security vulnerability, please report it to security@helpraio.com.
Helpr uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics data is collected through first-party tools to improve platform performance.
Helpr is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of Helpr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
